TV bosses are planning the warts and all show to coincide with musical Viva Forever hitting the West End

TV chiefs are planning a new “warts and all” documentary on the Spice Girls.

The 90-minute film is planned to coincide with the launch of the girlband’s new musical Viva Forever.

It will include one-on-one interviews with Mel B, 37, Geri Halliwell, 39, Emma Bunton, 36, and Mel C, 38.

But producers will pull the plug if Victoria Beckham, 38, refuses to take part.

And they are concerned she may not agree to be interviewed.

She is said to have scuppered plans for a string of reunions, including one for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert.

A TV source said: “With worldwide sales of over 75 million, they defined a generation.

“But their full story has never been told.

“Producers want to spend time getting to know each of the girls and let viewers feel they’ve got the real insight into their lives.”

Viva Forever premieres in the West End in December.
